Okay, now that you've heard from the professionals about critical thinking, please let Jack go forward with reasons why people cannot think in a critical manner these DAZE (of course I know that days is spelled D - A - Y- S!)!
Here's just 7 things that have distracted the Millennials And Gen Z over the last 23 years...AND TRULY MAKE ALL MEASURES OF LIFE SEEM ILLOGICAL!
1. Let's start with September 11th, 2001. Commonly referred to as 9/11! Hell came to roost at our house on that fateful day! Over 3,000 people died that day from many walks of life and many nationalities. How did it happen? Our government was illogically distracted over crazy things like impeaching Bill Clinton.
2. The 20 plus years of the forever wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
3. Colleges and Universities churning out millions of graduates with higher education degrees and no jobs befitting such degrees.
4. The Great Recession that wreaked havoc in our real estate and financial worlds. Many people can no longer afford the dream of home ownership.
5. The division of our country created by organizations that believe their rights are more important than We the People!
6. Socialism and Communism becoming acceptable and normal looking ways of life because the U. S. constitutional republic and capitalism are viewed as demonic entities by many left leaning liberals.
7. Covid-19 wreaking havoc on our country's systems overall. Mandated social isolation further added to the disillusionment of many of our citizens. The world governments, including the United States government, began taking more and more citizens rights and freedoms away from said people's.
THESE SEVEN THINGS ARE JUST A DROP IN THE BUCKET AS TO WHAT HAS OCCURRED IN THE LAST 23 YEARS. I USE 911 AS A DEMARCATION BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE CRAZINESS JUST BECAME SO MUCH MORE ZANY. YEAH! I LIKE THAT TERM ZANY CRAZINESS!
Disillusioned people living in an illogical and unkempt world! And in their disillusionment they began to fear many aspects of their lives. They need someone to help them manage that fear and to help control their lives. Thus, they allow parents, institutions, churches, the government, and sadly social media like Tiktok Facebook, Instagram, and many other distant social media outlets to control them!
Mom Frost always told us kids - "Believe none of what you hear and believe only half of what you see!"
When viewing or listening to any news on any platform anywhere in the world at any time on any given day you just can't trust the news!
Is their perception really your reality or is your reality created by your disillusioned perception? What came first your perception or their reality? You see it's all a play on words and how they and you "massage the messages!" News is constantly changed, subverted, converted, omitted, committed, watered down and glazed over and you never will know the truth! So, many people, hide in their perception and live a life of quiet desperation never knowing they could do better and be more!
So you see, disillusioned people latch on to any number of beliefs that are illogically logical! They cannot validate or corroborate what they are thinking and speaking thus they are controlled by any number of external sources that impose unrealistic ideals upon them.
Someone else's perception becomes their distorted reality. AND THEY, CUPKAKES AND SNOWFLAKES, FOREVER ARE UNABLE TO THINK IN CRITICAL MEANS. THEY'RE JUST PUPPETS ON THE SHELVES OF SOMEBODY'S DISTORTED BAKERY!

Great info! When people are illogical and we try to have a discussion on issues they lash out and accuse others , they name call and even scream and yell. Why ? Because they are illogical and have no basis for a discussion.
